About Jules Jewelry Design
Jules Jewelry Design has been in the making for many years, but was officially founded in 2003. Julie’s mother is a wonderful artist with fabric, and today is an award winning wearable artist. Julie’s father, who has always been an inspirational poet, has also won awards for his exceptional photography. For Julie, growing up in this nurturing artistic atmosphere taught her that to be creative is to have an expression of your true self.
After graduating from Long Beach State, CA, Julie worked in the Automotive Industry forecasting and coordinating exterior color and interior textiles for future automobiles. As a member of Color Marketing Group, her knowledge of identifying and forecasting color and fashion trends grew. Wanting to have more of a hands-on application, she then took this knowledge to promote her family’s furniture polish business.
A move to Littleton, Colorado, and a young family at home, left little time for creativity. But after a few years, as Julie says, “The busier my days get, the more important it is to be creative - it adds a wonderful balance to my life!”
Her love of color, texture, fashion, and self expression can be seen in the jewelry she creates.
